In our daily lives, we frequently encounter glass products, from small soda bottles and patterned glass bowls to large glass doors in stores and windows in our homes. Glass products are almost inseparable from our lives.
But do you know how those colorful and uniquely patterned sake glasses are made? š¶
Stepping outside the classroom, Creative Education's tutors led students from North Point Government Primary School (Cloudview Road) to explore the fascinating world of glassblowing.

Education isn't just about sitting in a classroom; occasionally taking students to learn and experience different craft cultures is a vital part of their education. Glassblowing not only trains focus and attention to detail in handling each step and controlling the heating time, but it also involves considering color combinations and the size and thickness of the glass. Patience is required as they wait for the glass to form and cool.
Our tutors took the students to a glass workshop in Hong Kong, where they learned about glass craftsmanship from artist Mr. Wong Kwok-Chung. Afterward, the students had the chance to create their unique sake glasses, enjoying the fun of glassmaking.
Now, letās take a moment to appreciate their beautiful creations and the highlights of the production process! āØāØ
